HARRY STYLES, YOU DON'T KNOW YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL

Occasionally an artist will wow us so much that we have to write a little something about it. It's something we like to call, a moment of appreciation. The first artist to claim this honour? None other than Mr Harry Styles.

On Monday 9th April, Harry Styles combined his years of arena-experience gained through his 1D years with an electric red suit and show full of soft pop rock to prove that he's one of the greatest showmen around.

As Manchester Arena was filled by the sound of angels to introduce the opening track, as well as ear-piercing screams from Styles' worshippers, the electronic curtain was raised to reveal Mr Styles, grinning, red suit glistening, and every eye in the room focused solely on him. From the off it was clear he was ready for this night. Manchester is THE show for Harry Styles. Hailing from Cheshire, it is the closest he'll ever get to playing in his hometown and nowadays, any gig at Manchester Arena has a special feel to it.

Amongst the country-infused soft rock, Styles ripped through some newer, more "rock'n'roll" numbers if you will. 'Medicine' in particular ripped straight through the crowd. However, there were 3 moments that proved Harry Styles is now a rock star, and a beautiful one at that:

1) "What Makes You Beautiful" - Harry dug deep and pulled out one of 1Ds biggest hits for his solo outing however the distinct, 'Grease'-esque intro was missing which left the Directioners in the audience baffled. Instead, Styles had re-written the instrumental section to create a funked up jazz-infused feel that had everyone dancing.
2) "The Chain" - We were as surprised as everyone when Mr. Styles came out with a rock ballad just over a year ago but since 'Sign Of The Times' and his following debut full-length, Styles' rock influences have become clear. This was further emphasised as he whipped out a cover of Fleetwood Mac's, 'The Chain', which he performed to perfection.
3) "Kiwi" - This is without a doubt Harry's best track. It's full of arrogance and the last thing you expected from the former 1D man. From the off it's fast paced and packs a brutal punch, it's simply brilliant.

We love Harry Styles and we ain't afraid to admit. It's time you stopped caring too and come see what all the fuss is about.
