WHAT DID WE EXPECT FROM THE VACCINES?

In 2011, The Vaccines asked, "What Do You Expect From The Vaccines?" and 7 years on, 3 albums since that debut record, we have our answer.

The answer: the same old stuff, every time. Sure, 'Combat Spots' has some fast fun rock'n'roll scattered around but overall, it's the same old stuff. A friend of mine put it perfectly: "The Vaccines are the definition of an OK band." There's nothing offensive about them, they don't even tend to do anything overtly wrong or annoying but they lack something. They lack the wow factor required to go to the top and every record seems to have a handful of forgettable tracks and eventually, you'll get bored of it.

So, that's what we expect from The Vaccines and clearly, it's all they expect from themselves.
