Lollapalooza Paris has two main stages adjacent of each other.
When one band finishes on one, the next band begins on the other. All weekend
every band stuck to their time and didn’t overrun, until Sunday evening when
Nekfeu ran over by 10 minutes, cutting into The Killers headline set. Not to be
outshone, whilst Nekfeu was still playing just 150-200 yards away, The Killers
strutted onto stage looking slightly bereft, before launching into ‘Mr
Brightside’ whilst Nekfeu continued to play, letting him know that The Killers were in
town. What followed was the greatest set I’ve ever witnessed. With an endless
reel of huge hits under various showers of confetti, The Killers were
determined to show Paris that if you mess with the bull, you get the horns.
