Slaves didn’t let
the Hungarian heat affect them as they delivered the same energetic,
aggressive, no nonsense show they always do. Mixing their loud punk with
moments of comedy, the duo are entertaining that’s for sure, and Sziget was no
difference. The trademark stories that introduce the increasingly iconic ‘Fuck The
Hi-Hat’ and ‘Girl Fight’ were extended, possibly to give the duo a
well-deserved rest. The set highlight was provided by a newer track, ‘Cut and
Run’, where several crowd members clambered onto stage to perform the dance
routine as seen in the music video, proving to be one of many weird and
wonderful moments.
