With Leicester City full-back Christian Fuchs tipping The Lids as 'ones to watch', we had to see what all the fuss is about. We did, and we liked what we heard so much we invited the Leicester boys to The Rodeo as they took on 'The Shootout:
1. Tell us your most interesting story from gigging...
This one time we had a guy in the crowd dressed as the devil with no trousers on, that was pretty interesting. Could only happen in London!!
2. Best part of being in a band...
Playing gigs in definitely the best part, it gets you proper buzzing and to be able to do that with your brother and mate is amazing.
3. And the worst?
Rhys: Arrogant sound men are the worst.
Liam: When something breaks mid set and you have to figure it out ASAP to carry on playing.
Sam: Setting up/ packing up definitely.
4. If you could take credit for one song what would it be?
Liam: The Ghost Busters theme tune!
Rhys: Everlong by Foo Fighters, is the best song ever!
Sam: Stairway to Heaven - Led Zep
5. Best TV/Movie you've watched recently?
Liam:The Office (US version obviously)
Rhys: The Office US
Sam: Luther
6. Lager or Ale? Why?
Liam: Lager because we're not from up north!!!
Rhys: Lager cos i'm not an old man!!
Sam: Ale because i'm not scared of tasting something when i drink.
7. Best city to gig in & why?
Liam: I'm staying loyal and saying Leicester.
Rhys: Leicester 100%, we've built up a mad following and gigs are always lively.
Sam: Easy, Leicester.
8. Describe your sound in 3 words
Energetic, sexy, unrelenting.
9. If you could create the perfect music venue, what things would it have to have?
Liam: One of those neon signs in the shape of a fish and also a lot of top bands.
Rhys: Free Beer !!!
Sam: Deffo stalls like an old theatre but still cool of course.
10. Any pre-show rituals?
We always listen to Pacific Coast Party by Smash Mouth on full blast as we get near the venue and have a good sing along.
