LIVE: HAIKU HANDS

When a support act doesn’t turn up and there’s only 10 people waiting to watch, a band may be forgiven for having an off-day themselves. However, despite the adversity facing Australia three-piece Haiku Hands, they showed class and professionalism to produce a dynamic display. Electronic-dance with hip-hop-infused-breakdowns, Haiku Hands are all about having fun. Their pre-choreographed dances demonstrated their ability to put on a show, whilst the smiles they incessantly wore showed their love for live music. They used the sparseness of Think Tank to their advantage, skipping and dancing in and amongst the crowd. Nothing was going to stop them tonight, no matter how hard it tried.
