THE SHOOTOUT: STRANGE BONES

1. Tell us your most interesting story from gigging...
This is a difficult question because all our stories are either funny or tragic. When I was 16 we were playing a festival with our old band. I took a beer from Slade and the violin player chased me with his violin bow. Sorry Slade. Merry Christmas everybody.

2. Best part of being in a band...Best part of being in a band is playing shows, connecting with a room full of people through loud music.

3. And the worst?
The worst part of being in a band is being broke, the struggle to do things the way you want to do them without having a money tree. But at the same time it is also empowering to be self sufficient and not have mountains of debt.

4. If you could take credit for one song what would it be?
The Damned - New Rose

5. Best TV/Movie you've watched recently?Decoder

6. Lager or Ale? Why?

Lager - can't beat a Stella
7. Best city to gig in, and why? It's got to be Manchester - although Hamburg is definitely up there. We always have our best gigs in Manchester, it's close to home.

8. Describe your sound in 3 words
We the rats.

9. If you could create the perfect music venue, what things would it have to have?It would be a warehouse space with a funktion1 sound system.

10. Any pre-show rituals? Not really. Sometimes we summon demons but apart from that it's usually just some shouting and stretching, you know?
