For an hour and a half, The Vaccines poured blood and sweat
into a set that seemed to go very quickly, but that's probably down to their longest song is about 2 minutes,. The nostalgic memories offered up via their
debut set the tone throughout, the new material and the poorly written choruses
struggling to live up to their earlier works. News of Newcastle’s big win
against Manchester City filtered through the crowd, chants of ‘Toon Toon Black
and White Army’ emerging after songs came to an end. It was pretty relentless, it
was what you expect from The Vaccines, if you pardon the pun. It was a decent
set, but one that failed to grab your attention from start to finish.
