Her voice is pure, soulful, powerful, an absolute dream. Diminutive
in stature, her eyes fixated on her guitar constantly, refusing to look up and
embrace the packed room, ensuring every note is played to perfection. Her mouth
barely moved as her spell-binding voice took over the entirely pink venue, an
apt location for Miss Universe. Powerful percussion offered an air of
confidence however, the more intimate tracks transformed into poised ballads, the
saxophone, played superbly by Jazzi Bobbi, taking songs to a new place,
transforming them, making them more assured, more layered and complex, adding extra panache.
